Nova School courses are approved by the National Certification Board of Massage Therapists and Bodyworkers, the American Massage Therapists Association and the Association of Body Work and Massage Professionals and the Florida boards of Massage and Acupuncture.
This is an introductory course for those new in the concepts of energy healing. The course discusses principles and tools of energy healing, the background and principles of three hands-on healing methods and chakra balancing.
Students are given an introduction to the principles and tools of energy healing; and the background and principles of the NOVA School of Healing Arts and Sciences.
The student will be able to:
identify and explain how to work with chi.
explain howchiflows and may become blocked
list the various energy bodies - physical, etheric, emotional, mental, higher self and spiritual
identify the etheric energy field with dousing rods
describe the history of chakras
list the location and color of the 13 primary chakras
discuss the function of each of the 13 chakra centers
identify energy imbalance or balance in the chakras with a pendulum
perform two chakra balancing procedures – one with the application of energy or chi; the second through meditation
discuss the universal grid and how the personal grid is part of that
discuss the role of the chakras, energy bodies and personal gird in healing
discuss the evolution of personal dis-ease and where it sits in the body.
describe the connection between belief systems, thought processes and emotion in dis-ease and wellness
discuss what is meant by the term energy medicine.
send energy or chi
describe what they are doing and experiencing in the sending energy or chi.
describe and perform the healing position and treatment process of sending the energy of the Gift of the Holy Spirit
list the benefits of the Gift of the Holy Spirit
describe and perform the healing position and process of sending the energy of Angel Light Healing
